Yes. A valid driver’s licence is required at the time of rental registration, and renters must be over 21 years old.
No. If you do not have one, we can issue a temporary one-day Pleasure Craft Operator certificate, provided you are over 21 and hold a valid driver’s licence. Before issuing it we run a brief session covering boating safety, along with a practical demonstration.

No, there is no insurance to add on. The driver of the boat is fully responsible for any damage, loss or injuries that occur during the rental period.
A hand wash station, portable toilets, and an extended deck area at the shoreline for a lunch break.

No. Just like with cars, Ontario law prohibits operating a boat while under the influence of alcohol.
Yes — a five-minute walk away in the town of Bewdley you will find two restaurants and a pizza place.
Yes, parking is available for our customers. Each boat rental includes one parking spot.
Yes, well-behaved dogs of all sizes are welcome. For everyone’s safety and comfort dogs must be kept on a leash and accompanied by a responsible adult who can clean up after them while on land. A $10 pet cleaning fee applies.
No, our boats are not permitted to leave Rice Lake.
